Alphamega Hypermarkets sweeps the “Cyprus Digital Marketing Awards 2021
It won seven awards in the Digital Marketing and eBusiness categories
Alphamega Hypermarkets emerged as one of the biggest winners of the “Cyprus Digital Marketing and Awards 2021”. The Company won seven awards at the event, which recognises the most important trends and innovative and effective practices in the fields of Digital Marketing and eBusiness.
More specifically, the Company won three Gold awards in the categories “Best Customer Experience”, “Best Digital Marketing Strategy for eCommerce” and “Best Website Transformation (Redesign-Relaunch)”, one Silver award in the “Best e-shop / Marketplace” category, two Bronze awards in “Best Use of Stories” and “Best Use of Data”, and one of the evening’s special awards, “eBusiness of the Year”.
The “Cyprus Digital Marketing Awards” were organised by the Press and Information Office in cooperation with Boussias Cyprus, while the winners were chosen by a multimember judging committee, comprising renowned professionals from the media, marketing, communication and business sectors.
Placing the use of innovative digital tools at the centre of its business model, Alphamega Hypermarkets invests significantly in expertise and human resources from the digital marketing field, to ensure it is effective in promoting its products and communicating with the public. Beyond digitising all of its internal procedures and operations, the Company launched – in the midst of the pandemic – Cyprus’ first supermarket e-shop, which brought radical changes to the country’s retail industry. Today, the company’s e-shop brings the full shopping experience that Alphamega Hypermarkets offers onsite, to consumers’ homes across Cyprus, while it continues to evolve.
