Bruschetta with Kyknos tomato paste

  • 6 slices of wheat or wholegrain bread
  • 6 teaspoons tomato paste KYKNOS
  • Extra virgin olive oil
  • sea salt in flakes
  • fresh basil leaves
  • capers (optional)


Brush the   bread with a little olive oil and bake it on the grill or the toaster.While itis still hot, spread the tomato paste on top, add a little olive oil and sprinkle with the salt, capers and basil leaves. Serve immediately. It is a nice "appetizer" for ouzo or tsipouro.
