CARE INSTRUCTIONS: Before using your pan for the first time, wash and lightly oil the inner coating with cooking oil. For the handles with a stainless steel insert, remove the protective plastic film. If your handles become loose carefully re-tighten using an appropriate screwdriver, but do not over tighten. For efficiency, stability and to avoid burning the handle or the coating: centre your pan on a hob adapted to the diameter of its base (a trivet may be required). Cookware with a smaller base diameter compared to the induction hob size might not trigger induction heating technology. Thanks to its non-stick coating your cookware does not need additional fat, promoting healthier cooking. To preserve the non-stick coating: Overheating the pan may damage its non-stick properties or distort the base. Avoid overheating your cookware especially without food. Be careful when using a maximum heating position or booster function. Never heat fat or oil to the extent that it burns and turns black. Cooking fumes are dangerous for animals with sensitive respiratory systems, like birds. Birds should not be kept in the kitchen. Most metal utensils may be used, except knives and whisks. Avoid using sharp-edged utensils. Slight surface marks or abrasions are normal and will not affect the performance of the non stick coating. Cleaning instructions: Clean your whole pan with hot water, mild washing up liquid, and a soft sponge. Avoid abrasive or aggressive cleaning products or detergents. For the base of your induction pan: dry it after each cleaning. A light blue or yellow colour can appear. It is natural, not dangerous and can be eliminated with a commercial cleaning product for stainless steel utensils, or with lemon juice or white vinegar. We recommend that you use an abrasive sponge only for the base. If placed in the dishwasher, the outer coating may become dulled and discoloured due to the action of certain detergents. Our guarantee does not cover this type of wear. CAUTION: To prolong the life of your pan, we recommend hand washing. Dishwasher use: it is preferable to use gentle detergents such as liquid or gel. Handles with a metallic composition or including metal inserts may become hot during use. For added safety, we recommend the use of oven gloves. Oven safe up to: 175°C for handles/knobs with bakelite. 210°C for stainless steel handles/ knobs with silicon insert. 250°C for handles/ knobs in stainless steel. Glass lids with rotative steam vented knobs are not oven safe. Glass lids without steam vented knobs are oven safe up to 175°C. Never plunge a hot glass lid into cold water.
