Prepare Use Before use always check manufacturers instructions manual. Coffee / tea / espresso machines, fully automatic coffee machines, coffee pad and capsule machines. Fill 500 ml water into the water tank. Add 50 ml descaler (approx. 1/2 cup). In cases of stubborn scale increase the quantity using the same ratio. Switch on the appliance and allow the coffee machine to run normally. Allow the machine to run with another 2 refills of water. Kettles: Pour 50 ml descaler (approx. 1/2 cup) into the kettle and fill with 500 ml water. Do not heat. In cases of stubborn scale use 100–150 ml descaler and fill the kettle with water until above the scale deposit rim and leave to stand for 10–15 min. Then empty the kettle and rinse out well with water.
