In order for your child to grow at a rate suitable for their age, certain nutritional substances such as calcium and Vitamin D are especially important, as they play a key role in their development. A toddler’s needs for these two nutrients are much higher than in adults. This is why the composition of Hipp 4 Junior Combiotic® reflects the fact that a toddler needs three times as much calcium and 7 times as much vitamin D than an adult (higher needs in nutrients in toddlers than adults, per kilo (EFSA 2013, men weighing 80 kilos, toddler weighing 12 kilos). Characteristics of the product Hipp 4 Junior Combiotic®. Hipp 4 Junior Combiotic® contains proteins and fats that are tailored to young children’s needs, and contains nutrients that are necessary for a child’s growth at this stage: PROBIOTIK® natural lactic acid cultures. PRAEBIOTIK®. Iodine: important for the good functioning of the thyroid and normal cognitive development. Calcium: Needed for the development of children's bones. Vitamin D: contributes to normal bone growth.
Prepare Use Please pay close attention to the instructions when preparing Hipp 4 Junior Combiotic®. Improper preparation can be harmful to health for example due to unwanted growth of bacteria. For this reason, you should always prepare the milk drink from the beginning before each meal and feed the child immediately. Do not reuse any milk residue. Close the box well after each use. Do not heat in the microwave (risk of scalding). Boil clean drinking water and let it cool to a temperature of about 40° -50° C *. Pour the required amount of water, lukewarm or cold ** into a children's glass. Fill the measuring scoop and with the non-sharp side of a knife make the surface of the powder flat with respect to the measuring scoop. Add the recommended amount of powder to the water. Stir and if necessary, make sure it has cooled to a temperature suitable for consumption (approximately 37°C). * To avoid damage to natural lactic acid crops (lactobacilli). ** If you want to prepare cold Hipp 4 Junior Combiotic® use boiled water that has been cooled
