Marina Theodorou’s cycling charity route activity returns, with strategic cooperation with Charalambides Christis
Marina Theodorou’s annual cycling route ““CYCLING FOR A EURO” has been embraced by ALPHAMEGA Hypermarkets as part of their general corporate social responsibility program “CHILD, NUTRITION AND HEALTH”, which is implemented in collaboration with the Cyprus Dietetic and Nutrition Association and offers, among others, free personalized nutrition plans to children between the age of 9-12.
The “CHILD, NUTRITION AND HEALTH” program, which aims to prevent childhood obesity and provide information about the benefits of a balanced diet and regular exercise, continues to raise awareness among children and adults through Marina Theodorou’s cycling route, which will take place during the weekends of June 5-6 and June 12-13, 2021.
Marina Theodorou will cycle around Cyprus, on the aforementioned days, and will make several stops at different municipalities and communities in order to inform about the benefits of exercise and collect donations that will go towards supporting children to obtain a free personalized nutrition plan, developed by a member of the Cyprus Dietetic and Nutrition Association.
The proceeds from the sales of the reflective armbands, suitable for cycling, hiking and running, will go towards the purpose. The armbands will be available for sale from the 1st until the 21st of June, 2021 at all ALPHAMEGA Hypermarkets for the price of one euro each.
During the first weekend of the activity, the cycling route will start from the city of Larnaca, will cover the rural districts of Larnaca and Famagusta, and will finish at Nicosia. During the second weekend, the cycling route will start from Paphos, cover the suburban districts of Paphos, Limassol and Larnaca and finish at Nicosia.

This great fundraising event is planned with the strategic contribution of Charalambides Christis dairy company, which has adopted the slogan “to kalitero mas” “to kalitero sti diatrofi mas”. Charalambides Christis shares the same vision with ALPHAMEGA Hypermarkets for children’s healthy nutrition.
