Alphamega Hypermarkets shines at “Cyprus Supply Chain and Operations Awards 2021”

The hypermarket chain was named “Supply Chain Company of the Year”

Alphamega Hypermarkets stood out among the big winners of the “Cyprus Supply Chain and Operations Awards 2021”, winning a total of three awards.

More specifically, Alphamega Hypermarkets was honoured with the “Supply Chain Company of the Year” award, as well as the GOLD awards in the categories “E-Commerce B2C and B2B” and “Innovation in Transport – Distribution”.

The “Cyprus Supply Chain and Operations Awards”, which are organised by Boussias Cyprus, recognise and reward good practices, innovative initiatives and projects, as well as best business practices in the Supply Chain sector.

Alphamega Hypermarkets was quick to foresee how digital transformation was the passport to ensuring a retail business’ sustainable growth and proceeded over the past few years to prepare and implement an action plan to digitally transform its entire business model. Part of this plan was to create an e-shop, which launched during the pandemic and was embraced by consumers from its very first month of operation, exceeding all of the company’s expectations and forecasts.
